Kathmandu: A City Lost in Time

A City Lost in Time has become a popular phrase for describing Kathmandu by expats and locals alike. The phrase perfectly describes this unique city where ancient traditions have mixed with globalization and the technological revolution to create a vibrant culture that is as enchanting as it is frustrating.

Langtang: A Land Lost to Time

In 2013 I was lucky enough to travel to Langtang, a region in the North of Nepal. The region was stunning for so many reasons, not least of which was the 6000+ meter mountains towering over you on all sides. I called this album "A Land Lost to Time" because tragically most of the villages featured in this collection were completely destroyed by the 2015 earthquake: Lang Tang was one of the regions closest to the epicenter, and because of this it suffered very high human and structural losses.

Roma: La Citta’ Eterna (The Eteral City)

Having grown up in Rome for nine years one might think that I had become desensitized to all the old ruins and picturesque alleys. In fact, the opposite seems to be true, the more I come back to this city (mostly to visit relatives) the more I realize how absolutely astounding it is.
